BLHC - Sketch Challenge

I'm getting in here at the very last moment because I tried to do this earlier today and my computer decided to run at the pace of a snail for a few hours. So, Gwen came up with a really cool sketch challenge for this week's Busy Little Hands Challenge.

Here's the layout I made using her sketch...

This is another one of my grandma's pictures that I printed out. She's the one on the left. I love the hats!

The stamp is from Artful Inkables.

Thanks for looking!:)

BLHC #3 - Vintaged Image

I know, you just can't get rid of me today. LOL! This week's challenge from Gwen at Busy Little Hands was to use a "vintaged image" in your project. At first I wasn't really sure what I was going to do, but I remembered that I had a bunch of pictures I had borrowed to scan from my grandma, so, I put a couple of copies of those to use.:)

Here's my card...

The little boy is my grandpa and the little girl is my grandma. My grandma is 83 now, my grandpa passed away in '02. Weren't they adorable? My grandpa on some kind of tractor in Ohio, my grandma leaning against a wall somewhere in France. Who would have thought they would have ended up together, but I'm sure glad they did!:)

Paper/cardstock from Core'Dinations and The Paper Studio. I used a little sunburst shaped punch and some brads to make the flowers. Added a little ribbon, too. And the stamp is from Hampton Art.

Hope you like it! It was a sweet project for me to work on.:)

BLHC #2 - Family Fun

Yay! I'm finally getting a chance to post this. This week at Busy Little Hands the challenge had a theme of Family Fun.

Here's what Gwen said:

"What do you and your family do for fun? Are there special moments you plan or traditions you do together for recreation or entertainment? If so, scrap a page or create a project that will celebrate the way you and your family "play" together."

Here's the layout I made...

Sorry the first two pics are kinda fuzzy, I had to turn the flash off to take them. The pictures are from a while back and are of my family in the woods at one of the places we like to go to walk together when the weather's nice. My husband is an outdoorsy kind of guy.

I used papers from The Paper Studio, Colorbok, and Bazzill Basics. I used a pine tree edge punch from Martha Stewart for the sections behind the pictures. And there was some craft ribbon and a few brads, too. Oh, and some stickers I cut down to use for this.

Thanks for looking!:)
