StampInsanity Challenge #4

I was intrigued by the challenge this week at StampInsanity, so, I decided I needed to play along.;)  This week’s challenge was to create a Stair Step Fold card.  I’d never tried this before, but I really enjoyed it!

This one’s a little blurry, but you can see the steps better…

Off the Wall Craftiness Challenge #2

I needed to make a Thank You card today, so, I decided to do one for the challenge over at Off the Wall Craftiness!  I really liked the colors in the inspiration pictures for this week’s challenge.  Also, I decided to try something new on this card, flocking.  It didn’t turn out perfectly, but it was a learning experience, and I think I’ll do better with future projects now that I know what to expect.:)

My camera just would not capture the true color of the teal paper, it kept looking bluer than it really is.  Oh well.

A little madness…

I made a card!  I feel like it’s been forever since I made one.  I did this yesterday, before coming down with the plague my children have.  I do try to teach them to share, so, I guess I can’t complain too much.;)  Anyway, on to the card…

And here’s one without flash, in natural light…

FHF – Kaleidoscope Krew’s Color Challenge #1!

Yes!  Today is the very first Kaleidoscope Krew Color Challenge on the Friends Having Fun blog!!  I’m so excited to be a member of this Krew!  The first Monday of each month we’ll have a Color Challenge picked out by the fabulous Alison.  Here are the colors Alison chose for our first challenge…

Aren’t they such pretty, happy colors?

I actually ended up making two projects for this challenge.(I tend to get over enthusiastic sometimes);)

Here’s my first project…

It was a mixed nuts container!

The toile print paper is The Paper Studio.  I’m not sure what the other papers are.

And here’s the project I finished last night…

My son flipped on the tv the other day and it happened to be a crafting show on!  They were making these little accordion style albums and I thought they were really cute, so, I decided to try one.  It was fun!

Paper from The Paper Studio, Creative Memories, and others that I don’t know.  Stamps used were JoAnn Craft Essentials Monogram Stamps.

Thanks for looking!  Hope you’ll join us with our challenge!:)
