Twinkles and New Folds

Hi!  I wanted to show you the anniversary card I made for my parents.  I used two challenges for this card, Wild Flower Wednesday Challenge 20, and Oh, Alice!  Chapter 19:  Twinkle, twinkle…

I learned how to make a Joy Fold Card from the InStyle Stamps Blog.  The digi stamps come from The Wild Flower Patch.  Copics and a colored pencil were used for the coloring.  Paper from Coredinations and DCWV.  Stardust Stickles on a few of the flowers.

Thanks for looking!:)

Anniversary Card for My Husband

I did get it made in time!  Hurray!  LOL!  And actually, this is one of my favorite cards that I’ve made.:)

Chester stamp and sentiment stamp from Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps.  I also used a little arrow stamp from Studio G to point to the number 8 on the clock, since this was our 8th anniversary!:)  The gears are Tim Holtz, and I also used Tim Holtz masks to make the gears on the grey paper.  The N and L stamps were from the dollar bin at Michael’s.  And I even used some sandpaper to sand the bottom edge of the front of the card.

This card goes along with these challenges…

Oh, Alice!:  Chapter 17:  Mad Watch

A Crafty Little Challenge #43 – One for the Boys

I really liked the sentiment “Time Passes…Friendship Remains” because Nathan and I are still the best of friends after so many years.  And since I’m being so sentimental, here are a couple of our wedding photos from 8 years ago…

Oh Alice! Challenge 4-Picturing Wonderland

This week's challenge at the Oh, Alice! challenge blog is a sketch challenge. I really like this sketch, I liked using a frame in the center.

I had trouble getting good pictures of this card. My lighting stinks here.

The paper is Me & My Big Ideas, the cardstock DCWV. The teacup is from The Greeting Farm, the sentiment from Sassy Studio Designs, and the hat is something I picked up over at The Graphics Fairy.(I added the tag on the hat) The swirly thing and the paper frame are from Creative Memories. I used Stardust Stickles along the edges of the sentiment paper.

Thanks for looking, enjoy your Sunday!

Oh Alice Challenge #1

I'm so excited about the new Oh, Alice! challenge blog! I've been a fan of all things Alice since I was very young.:) This week's theme was "Alice Gets Glam: Inspiration Challenge" And here's my card...

This picture shows the sparkles on the snail shell...

And this picture shows the different aspects of the card itself better...

The floral paper is from The Paper Studio. Cardstock from DCWV. The two mushroom digis to the sides and the sentiment are from Sassy Studio Designs. The other digi is "Tilly on a Mushroom" from Digital Doodling. I used colored pencils on all of them. Stardust Stickles on the snail shell.

Hope you like it! It was a lot of fun to make.:)
