SBS Tumblin’ Buddy Blog Hop!

Hi! Today you should have arrived here from Tina’s blog. If not, you may want to go back to the beginning at the Simply Betty Blog to start this fabulous hop!

So, here a little while back a bunch of us from the SBS Facebook group did a tumbler swap. We bought a tumbler and then we filled it with crafty goodies, candy, or whatever else we felt like, and then we sent it to our assigned swap partner. It was a lot of fun! I was partnered up with the super awesome Christina! And she sent me the most amazing stuff! Wanna see?

This is the whole lot, and then I’ll show you some close ups…

Wonder Woman was my hero when I was a little girl. I wanted to be her. So you can imagine how thrilled I was when I saw my tumbler!

And she knew that I’m a huge Doctor Who fan, so she included these, too! Don’t Blink.

July Bombshell Blog Hop!

Hello! Today you should have hopped here from the abundantly awesome Alison’s blog. If not, you can go back to the beginning at the Bombshell Blog to start this super cool hop! Our theme this month was “Iconic”. What’s that mean? Well, Alison instructed us to focus on our fabulous little Bombshell stamps. You know, the tiny shapes and “icons” that come with the stamp sets. Smile

Well, I used a bunch of those little stamps! I used stamps from Retro Cowgirls, Butterfly Queen, Bombshell Angel, Homeward Bound, Hula Girl, Vintage Raceway, and Lotus Garden. That’s a lot of Bombshell Stamps!

So, what did I make? I decorated a little round box…

I stamped the images on to tissue paper…

Then I colored them, or colored around them…

Then I Mod Podged them on to the box I had painted…

But wait! There’s more! I got overly ambitious and decided to play along with Ms. July’s Challenge to make a piece of jewelry with one of my stamps, so I made this…

July Smeared and Smudged Blog Hop

Hello! Our theme for the Smeared and Smudged member blog hop this month is Bring the Heat!

Here’s what I came up with…

I had a lot of fun coloring this image from Smeared Ink. Then I had even more fun playing with fire to get the edges burnt and smoky. The piece of fabric along the side has been burnt as well.

And even though they’re not part of my project, here are some burnt fabric flowers my friend and I made. They’re super easy to make, plus we like any excuse to play with fire.:)

June Bombshell Hop!

3 Cheers for Summer! That’s the theme this month. Smile We were to either use the number 3, or 3 of something on our summer themed projects. Fun!

I got sidetracked and didn’t get to do what I really wanted, so I ended up making this card, using Hula Girl from Bombshell Stamps. I used 3 little pink paper clips on my card. And I divided the card into three sections. I did something different and used a colored ink and didn’t color in my images.

Skull Appreciation Day 2012 Blog Hop!

It’s Skull Appreciation Day!! Woo Hoo! I’m very excited to participate in this year’s blog hop that is being put on by Smeared Ink. The full hop list can be found at the bottom of this post. This hop has some amazing sponsors and awesome prizes, so make sure you check everything out!

So, I tried to use a skull stamp(from Smeared Ink) on canvas, but it turns out that stamping on stretched canvas doesn’t always work well.(at least not for me) So my amazingly talented friend teamed up with me and used that stamp as the basis for the creation you see below. I think I got the skull stamp with the bow from a dollar bin at Michael’s or somewhere. It was a lot of fun to make this piece. I love painting! Thanks for all your help, Britany!!
