May Smeared & Smudged Member Hop
Hello! Welcome to the May Smeared and Smudged Member Blog Hop. You should have made your way here by way of the wonderful Black Dragon. If not, the entire hop list is below for your convenience.
Our theme this month is “Anything Goes”, so there should be lots of amazing projects along the way.
I decided to also play along with the current challenge at Smudgy Antics, which is to “Alter a Box”.
Here’s the box I started with…
And here’s what I ended up with…
Here are more views of the various parts…

It is just the right size for my mini dominoes.
Digi stamp is from Smeared Ink. So is the barbed wire stamp, but it’s from the Smeared Ink Rubber Club. I added a little bit of Diamond Glaze to the top image.
Thanks for looking! Your next stop is Kristy. She’s sure to have something awesome for you to see. Happy Hopping!

Speak “Friend” and Enter
Hello! I’m here today with a reminder post about our current challenge at Movie Magic Monthly, which is Lord of the Rings vs. Harry Potter. I have a new project to show you that contains two gorgeous new images from the incredibly talented Rick St. Dennis.
I made a door hanger/sign that uses a quote from the movie and book of Lord of the Rings. The background of the sign was made by using some modeling paste, and then applying some sparkly and metallic acrylic paints.
And in use…
Aren’t they amazing images? You can find Galadriel here, and Gandalf here. Be sure to check out some of the other awesome images while you’re there.
Also, be sure to stop by the Movie Magic Monthly blog to see more creations using these images.
Thanks for looking!

April S&S Junk Funk Challenge
Hello. This month’s Junk Funk Challenge on Smeared and Smudged was to use foil. I was very excited, because I actually had foil on hand!
I taped some foil to some plain cardstock and then embossed it. Then I mixed up some rusty colored paint and used it on the embossed foil.
The image is from Smeared Ink.
