Last Minute Laura!

Yep, that’s me!  I just finished a DT project for tomorrow, and now I’m going to show you a couple of projects that had to be done by the end of this month.Winking smile

First, I have a card that I made for the September Freaky Freebie Challenge on Smeared and Smudged.  The image is from Smeared Ink.

The little headstone stamp is from Luni Stamps.  I stamped it on a piece of paper and then added a glass pebble.  I got this idea from Shell over at Smeared and Smudged.  She has some awesome ideas!

The zombie playing cards are legit playing cards.  I bought two decks of them.  Each one has a humorous zombie related tip on it.

Next up is a journal page I made for the September Rock N’ Rolla Challenge at Smeared and Smudged.  The video was Your Betrayal by Bullet for My Valentine.  They’re one of my favorite bands(I’m going to see them next month for the third time!), so I had to play along.

This page was a blast to make.  I used crayon, a colored pencil, Dylusions spray ink, Memento ink, and Distress ink.  I used some Tim Holtz stencils for some of it.  I also used a background script stamp from somewhere(sorry, I don’t remember where it was from).  Some doodling and writing and there you go!

Thanks for looking!  Maybe I’ll be more on time next month…LOL…yeah, right.

Brick by Boring Brick

Hello!  Today brings us a new challenge at Musically Challenged!  This time around we are drawing our inspiration from Paramore’s Brick by Boring Brick.

Our sponsor this time around is Milk Coffee, so that’s where my adorable image comes from.

I just made a simple card this time.  I took my inspiration from the colors in the video, and the little girl’s wings.

Thanks for looking!  I hope you can find time to play along with us.  Be sure to check out the rest of the DT’s creations.  They rock!

Chromatic Craze–Challenge #3!

Hello!  Today is the beginning of our third challenge over at Chromatic Craze.  We are a monthly color challenge, so come check us out!

Here are the colors we are working with this month…

September 2013 Color Challenge

I decided to do an art journal spread for this one.  I did some doodling, spraying, and splattering.  And then I added a stamp from Dyan Reaveley.

It’s a bit simplistic, but I was stumped by my own color combo, lol.

Thanks for looking!  I hope you have time to play along with us this month.

Hello!  I’m back now to show you the card I made, using the image from The Stamping Chef for the current SBS vs. TSC challenge.

The challenge for this one was to add blood splatters to your project.

Glittery Skeletons

Hello.  I’m here to show you a couple of last minute cards I’ve done.  In this post I have a card, using a digi from Simply Betty Stamps.  They’re doing another challenge of SBS vs. TSC, so I couldn’t resist playing along again.

The challenge for the SBS image was to create a project and add some glitter.

I made the roses sparkly, but it’s hard to see in the pictures.

Thanks for looking!  Be back in a minute with the other card.
