StampInsanity Challenge 2!

So I finally kicked myself into gear and finished my project for this week’s StampInsanity challenge.  The challenge was “to take an ordinary household item and make a container, worthy of groovy status. “  Fun!  So here’s mine…

This looks way cooler in person.  I had a lot of fun punching holes in the sides of the tin.:)  I love this Maddie stamp from StampInsanity, she’s so cute!  And yes, the quote is from Supermassive Black Hole by Muse.  I’m not sure what I’m going to use this tin for, but it was a lot of fun to make!  I used Copics and Prismacolor markers to color Maddie.  The paints I used were Jacquard Lumiere Halo & Jewel colors.(They’re very metallic looking in person)

Thanks for looking!

Sassy Inspiration Challenge!

Sassy Studio Designs is having an inspiration challenge today and tomorrow.:) I'm totally into all of these Alice in Wonderland themed things lately! Oh, and there's a cool prize for this one!

Here's my "mad" card...;)

All digi stamps from Sassy Studio Designs. Paper from DCWV.

Hope you like it, it was fun to make!:)

Oh Alice! Challenge 4-Picturing Wonderland

This week's challenge at the Oh, Alice! challenge blog is a sketch challenge. I really like this sketch, I liked using a frame in the center.

I had trouble getting good pictures of this card. My lighting stinks here.

The paper is Me & My Big Ideas, the cardstock DCWV. The teacup is from The Greeting Farm, the sentiment from Sassy Studio Designs, and the hat is something I picked up over at The Graphics Fairy.(I added the tag on the hat) The swirly thing and the paper frame are from Creative Memories. I used Stardust Stickles along the edges of the sentiment paper.

Thanks for looking, enjoy your Sunday!

A Little Late

I made this card a couple of weeks ago for a challenge, but I didn't get it posted in time, so, here it is now.:)

In natural light you can see that the stamp and sentiment are raised a little...

Paper from DCWV. Digi tree stamp from Wild Flower Kids Stamps, sentiment stamp from Inkadinkado.

Trying to Catch Up

Hi! Sorry I've been so absent lately. I'm recovering from surgery I had last week, so, I haven't been able to do much in the way of crafting. I'm hoping to get something done soon, though. Just wanted to post something here so that you wouldn't think I had abandoned my blog. I've been catching up on all of your blog posts and projects, and you are all amazing me with your creations. I'm itching to get back into the swing of things. Thanks to those of you who have been offering words of support during my recovery.:)

hugs,
Laura
