To celebrate the release of ECLIPSE today, we're highlighting the Artful INKables Twilight inspired sets: Into the Moonlight, Fictionally Inspired and Epic Tales. Artful INKables also has a set of Vampire Romance Themed Charms available!

I chose to use the Fictionally Inspired stamp set to make my Eclipse inspired card.  I liked making a joy fold card so much the other day that I decided to make one here, too.:)

Twinkles and New Folds

Hi!  I wanted to show you the anniversary card I made for my parents.  I used two challenges for this card, Wild Flower Wednesday Challenge 20, and Oh, Alice!  Chapter 19:  Twinkle, twinkle…

I learned how to make a Joy Fold Card from the InStyle Stamps Blog.  The digi stamps come from The Wild Flower Patch.  Copics and a colored pencil were used for the coloring.  Paper from Coredinations and DCWV.  Stardust Stickles on a few of the flowers.

This card was made for a big sister who now has twin baby sisters!:)  And here’s the card I made for her mom and dad…

Anniversary Card for My Husband

I did get it made in time!  Hurray!  LOL!  And actually, this is one of my favorite cards that I’ve made.:)

100_4633

Chester stamp and sentiment stamp from Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps.  I also used a little arrow stamp from Studio G to point to the number 8 on the clock, since this was our 8th anniversary!:)  The gears are Tim Holtz, and I also used Tim Holtz masks to make the gears on the grey paper.  The N and L stamps were from the dollar bin at Michael’s.  And I even used some sandpaper to sand the bottom edge of the front of the card.

This card goes along with these challenges…

Oh, Alice!:  Chapter 17:  Mad Watch

A Crafty Little Challenge #43 – One for the Boys

I really liked the sentiment “Time Passes…Friendship Remains” because Nathan and I are still the best of friends after so many years.  And since I’m being so sentimental, here are a couple of our wedding photos from 8 years ago…

Last Minute for Sketch Girl

One of these days I’m going to have an entry in early for a challenge, but not today!  If you’re looking for my FHF Sketch Challenge post, then please keep scrolling down on my blog.  This is my second post today, which is really amazing since I can’t seem to get time for anything lately!

I’ve had this album since my husband and I got married, but the page size was odd, so, I never knew what to do with it.  Until now!  I measured the pages and there’s just enough room to put a 5 inch page inside, so, I’m going to fill it with small layouts using pictures of me and my husband.:)  Here’s what the album looks like(the friend that gave it to us put the picture of us when we were dating in it)…

100_4628

I decided to use Sketch Girl-Sketch #19 for this page…

The picture is from a few years ago.  We have a friend that used to throw a jazz music party every year, and that’s where this picture was taken.

And now I have to run because tomorrow is our wedding anniversary and I don’t have a card made for my husband yet!  Yikes!

Thanks for looking!

FHF-Sketch Challenge #3!

Hello!  We have an awesome new Sketch Challenge for you this week!  Wanna see?  Here it is…

fhf3

I love this sketch!  When trying to figure out what I was going to make with it I remembered a $1 journal I had bought, so, I decided to re-cover it and use the sketch for the front.  Check it out…

Sentiment stamp and pocket watch stamp from Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps.  The ribbon was actually a cream color so I just used brown ink all over it to make it look the way I wanted.  I sanded the edges of the circle.  And the gold charms had little loops on them, so I cut those off and stuck them on there because they reminded me of fancy gears.  I’m totally in love with steampunk right now!:)

Hope you like it!  Be sure to check out the other Sketch Sorority Sisters, too:

Juanita

And we’re having a design team call right now, too!  For details on the Sketch Challenge DT Call go HERE, and for details on the Recipe Challenge DT Call go HERE.

Have a great week!:)

A New Shape for Me

Hi!  I needed to make a card for my in-laws’ anniversary, so, I decided to see what challenges I could play along with to make it.  I decided to go with two:  A Crafty Little Challenge #42-Anything But Square and Friends Having Fun Recipe Challenge #2(Spring theme, hand-cut flower(s), embossing, and pastel-like colors)

I hadn’t really made a circular card before so I decided to give it a try…

100_4609

100_4616

And inside…

100_4597

Flower digi stamp is from Stamp Happens, I just colored two and cut out one flower and set of leaves and used foam tape to make them “pop”.  “Happy Anniversary” stamp from Stampabilities.  I used an embossing folder on the pale purple cardstock and used two different colors of ink smeared all over it.

Hope you like it!  Thanks for stopping by!
