Keep Calm & Craft

Hello!  I’m back to show you a card I made for a challenge on the TSC Blog.  This challenge was created for the TSC Recipes group on Facebook.

Congratulations to The Stamping Chef for being open for a year!

Tamara gave us this awesome image to create with.  It can now be found in the TSC Shop.

Smudgy Antics–Anything Goes

Hello!  I don’t have a ton of time to play with challenges, so I love it when there’s an anything goes challenge!  That’s the theme right now at Smudgy Antics, so I decided to link up the ATCs I made for the November ATC swap on the Smeared and Smudged forum.

I used one of my favorite grumpies from Smeared Ink to make these.  All of the grumpies are mounted on wobbles.

Musically Challenged #14!

Hello!  Happy Weekend!  Today begins a new challenge at Musically Challenged.  This time we’re drawing our inspiration from Bad Girls Club by Falling in Reverse.

Our sponsor this time is Kenny K, so that’s where my image is from.

The video is really high energy and fun, so I tried to incorporate that into the tag I made.  I kept getting the cheer from the song stuck in my head, so that was what I used for the sentiment on my tag.

I used some of my Dylusions sprays and some scraps to make the background…

Thanks for looking!  I hope you can find the time to play along with us!

DICC #66–Bombshell Stamps

Hello!  Today begins a new challenge for us over at DICC!  Actually, I believe we are working with two different lists this time around, so you have lots of options if you want to play with us.

Here’s the list that I used…

1. Use Indian corn colors of Rust, Gold, Deep Red, and Tan

2. Thank you or Thankful Theme

3. Dry or Heat Embossing

4. Three Layers

5. Metal

6. Die Cuts

7. Charms

8. Photo Corners

9. Ribbons

10. Lace

I used numbers 1, 4, 5, 7, 8, and 9 for my project.

Our sponsor this time is the fabulous Bombshell Stamps!

We were able to work with the Indian Princess set.  This set is the current Muse Monday set over on the Bombshell Blog, and is on sale this month!

I ended up making a little wall hanging/decoration type thing.

And here it is held against my kitchen wall…

AJED DT Call and First Technique Post!

Hello!  I’m very excited to tell you that I am a member of the Art Journal Every Day DT over at Smeared and Smudged.  Every week we will be bringing you a prompt or a technique post.

Last week I did the prompt, which was Distressing.

Here’s the page that I made for that.

This week I did the technique post, which is Speckles and Splatters.

Here’s my completed page.  You’ll have to head over to the AJED group to see all of the step-by-step photos.

Both of my pages feature stamps from the Smeared Ink Rubber Club.

Please keep in mind that there is a DT Call going on right now for the AJED DT.  Follow the link to learn more!

Thanks for looking!  I hope to see you over at Smeared and Smudged!
