Glittery Skeletons

Hello.  I’m here to show you a couple of last minute cards I’ve done.  In this post I have a card, using a digi from Simply Betty Stamps.  They’re doing another challenge of SBS vs. TSC, so I couldn’t resist playing along again.

The challenge for the SBS image was to create a project and add some glitter.

I made the roses sparkly, but it’s hard to see in the pictures.

Thanks for looking!  Be back in a minute with the other card.

Loki’d!

So, I have a soft spot for some of the not so savory characters from comic books and movies.  I just can’t help it.  I like the misunderstood “bad” guys.  So my project today features my all-time favorite Marvel character from both comics and films…Loki!

I made a chunky page, using a digi from Simply B Stamps.

If you don’t know what “Loki’d” means, then you really need to watch this video here.  I Red heart Tom Hiddleston so much!

Thanks for looking!  I hope you can find time to play along with our current Marvel challenge HERE.

SBS April Fan Page Challenge

Hello!  I’m here to share a creation I made for the current SBS Fan Page Challenge.  The challenge is to use the image provided and include swirls and ribbon.  To receive the image you had to be a member of the SBS FB Fan Page

Here’s the card I made…

I couldn’t find any really swirly paper in my stash, so I used a swirly stamp and made some!  This image made a song get stuck in my head, so I just went ahead and used it for the sentiment.

Here’s the inside sentiment…

SBS Fan Page Challenge

Hello again!  I know, two posts in one day, it’s a miracle!  So on Facebook there’s a Simply B Stamps Fan Group.  And from time to time Betty gives us some incredible freebies to work with…and oftentimes there’s a challenge to go along with the image.  Our challenge right now is to use the image we were given to make a project using only black, cream, and one other color.(skin and hair don’t count)  You can find out more about the challenge on the SBS Blog.  And if you like this image, you can find a couple of equally awesome images from the same line at Simply B Stamps.

Here’s the card I made…

I really should have thought this through, though.  I had a really hard time finding things that were the exact same rusty red orange color that her gown is, haha.  But I did eventually find something.Winking smile

And here you can see that Medusa and the paper under her are “popped up”.
