Hello. I didn’t take quite as many pictures today. Here’s one of my favorites, though…
It’s dark, but I love that you can see me taking the picture in the reflection of his sunglasses.:) (and yes, that is my husband driving the car)
OK, now on to the other part of this post. I decided to play along this week with the challenge over at The Burtonesque Dolls. The challenge is to use lyrics from one of the songs in The Nightmare Before Christmas in your project. I think it’s really cool that they’re having people vote for the winner of this week’s challenge. Now I have to admit something…I’ve never actually seen the whole movie of The Nightmare Before Christmas. I am a big fan of Tim Burton, however. And I like the character designs from this movie, and after looking up song lyrics I’ve discovered that I really like Sally’s Song. Now that I’ve made all my excuses here’s what I made…
It’s hard to tell, but the inside is sparkly where I painted it.
And a close up so that you can read the lyrics…
The coffin template is from Martha Stewart and can be found here.
The drawing of Sally is my own.
Thanks for looking! I’ll be back later with a blog hop post for tomorrow.
