Movie Magic Monthly First Challenge!!

Hello!  I’m very excited to tell you that there is a new challenge blog that is sure to be a blast to play along with.  And I’m even more excited to tell you that I have the privilege of being one of the Design Team members!  Here’s the skinny…  The challenge blog is Movie Magic Monthly.  Every month on the 10th a new challenge goes up.  Then you have a WHOLE MONTH (sorry for shouting) to play along.  And you can play along however many times you want to!  Each challenge is based on a film, or a collection of films, so you can make whatever your little heart desires, as long as it’s a new project based on the current month’s film.   Sounds pretty awesome, huh?  So, what’s our first challenge?

Yep, it’s Alice in Wonderland!

I love Alice, so this was not a hard film for me to be inspired by.  I decided to do something a bit different for this one.  I painted a canvas panel, then I did some writing on it, then I added an awesome image from Rick St. Dennis, mounted on a wobble.  And because I felt like something was missing, I added the gears to the corners.  See…

Because of the wobble, the kitty wiggles, so I tried to capture that in this picture, but my camera seems to catch things a little too quick, haha.
