I Crumbled It

Hello!  I actually played along with a challenge!  I made something for the current challenge at Smudgy Antics, which is Crumble It.  I crumbled my piece of Core’dinations Black Magic cardstock, and then I sanded the black off of the raised bits.  It was fun!  Then, I used that paper to make a new cover for a small journal.

The image I used is one of my very favorite stamps.  It’s Inner Workings – Compartment Heart from Smeared Ink.  And I added some silk yarn for a little extra pizzazz.

Thanks for looking!

What beautiful texture. I love the distressed red. And the heart looks great.
Good luck with the new blog. I hope to find some time to play along.
